This bike needs some TLC but would make an ideal first BIG bike. I passed my test 12 months ago and bought this as my first bike as I needed something cheap and cheerful to get some experience on (and the wife said I wasn’t allowed to spend a fortune in case I didn’t like biking- I do and I’ve just bought a newer bike so this has to go, she also wants a moped!).

 The Good Points

1. Cheap reliable bike that still pulls like a train.
2. MOT til June 08.
3. Tax til end of May 08.
4. Serviced at 55852 miles.
5. New battery 2 months ago
   
6. 4 into 1 full micron exhaust.
7. Recent sprocket kit and chain.
8. Crash bobbins.

 Bad Points

1. It’s been standing for a month or so and the starter motor has seized, but it bump starts (I've just taken her for a ride for 10 mins and she is riding fine).This has happened before and the starter motor started working after a few long runs. Possibly could do with a new starter motor.
   
2. The screen has a corner missing due to errant football.
3. The fairing is tatty with a repair at very bottom, doesn’t affect anything though.
4. The Neutral light doesn’t come on, (loose wire).
5. The side stand cut off switch sticks, just needs a good clean.

Also comes with a Hayne’s manual so you can fix all these little niggles fairly easily.

To be honest she has seen better days and cosmetically she’s not perfect, however if you want a cheap run-around, or a first step into sports bikes, or if you have just passed your test and don’t want to worry if you drop your bike, then

I have limited mechanical knowledge and tried to be as honest as possible, I would recommend having a look at her first if you are not too mechanically minded.
