Yamaha waveraider 1100 1996 for sale. I bought this Jet ski 1 year ago and it has brought so much fun with friends. Im reluctantly having to sell it (especially as my friends are keeping theirs) as I keep it in a friends garage and he needs it back to store his work parts. ( I had noticed junk had been filling up around the ski) The ski is very fast (ive had fast cars but this seems faster when on it, especially when you're airbourne!) and has had an engine rebuild in 2007. (receipt in picture) and also had a service at beginning of this season, with new HT Caps etc.. (receipt included pic can be sent showing the service check done if required.) It comes with; trailor (with Winch) Life Jacket Trailer Board (Brand New trailor board - friend decided to push his Jet ski over mine) Some sot of splash Guard on the front Almost full bottle of oil (i think - will check this) 3/4 tank of fuel as well The oil / petrol mixer has been disabled so you have to premix and this was done prior to me buying it. (50 /1 mix) I saw this as a benefit as id read if the oil feeder fails you get a seized engine! And i know im capable of mixing oil into the fuel tank. Regarding the engine rebuild, It has had a 0.5mm rebore and is the first one performed on the engine. Ive read a maximum of 3 is recommended so plenty of life in her yet. I had an engine compression check done this June to make sure it was all ok. C1 = 144psi C2 = 142psi C3 = 144psi Document will be provided showing compression etc... With its ages comes the wear and tear so lets get on to the bad bits; * two tears in the seat. Never bothered me as I wanted a good engine but if you want a perfect looking ski it may bother you and the hull has got marks on bottom, but was strengthened by last owner. I expected this when buying it, it isnt new after all. * Trailor, both hubs need tightening, Worse case is new bearings. Friend just had his replaced and that was £90 to give you an idea. If they just need tightening, then if you can do it yourself...free!! Unfortunatly salt water doesnt like metal. * the heads up display doesnt work, hit a wave about a month ago and it just went off, Never had chance to look at it up till now, could be something simple like the connector could be displays gone, simply dont know. But was a good excuse for speeding in the harbour. * Cylinder 3's plug keeps getting choked up with Carbon. Sign of running too rich, I was going to get it re-tuned on the carbs when booked in for winterising it this winter, but as I no longer will have the ski :-( It hasnt been done yet. I spoke to the bloke who originally did the service at beginning of the year and he said he would retune it,but I never made it back to him as he's too far away. He explained to me it was like a car and if I just cleaned the plug off after running it with a wire brush it would be fine the next time...he was right so I just clean the plug everytime and also went spark plug mad and bought 8 of them lol The reserve is set to a low £950, why so low it has to go I have no where to keep it,ive tried finding a place and if your the lucky winner you will see what i mean when I say i just dont have the space anymore :-( payment on collection, this jet ski is rideable and working as it is currently described, I have just been totally honest about the work I would do to it.
