This unit plugs right into the input on your PAC/Peripheral iPod interface. Make sure the car is off, and the key is out when changing the cable.
Q: When I connect my iPhone (1st Gen only) will it still say “This accessory is not made for the iPhone”?
Yes, it will still say that, there is simply no way around this. When it asks you to go into Airplane mode, just press no or decline the offer.
Q: Will this work on my PAC/Peripheral interface?
This unit is compatible with only the iPAC-OEM, iPAC-CHY, CHYP & some older models of the PXDP.

No, this is not compatible with the iPhone 3G (or newer). This new apple model only uses 5v to charge. This same situation also applies to the 4th Gen Nano, 7th Gen Classic & 2nd Gen Touch - they all use 5v charging (USB).
