The Ion Film2SD comes complete with an SD card slot and an LCD display, so you don't need your computer to make it work. The Film 2 SD is supplied with a 1 GB memory card, and you can scan images in 2592x1680 resolutions and then share them on the internet or print them. For those photos that need touching up, you can use the Film 2 S's USB port to send them to your Mac or PC.
