19th Century Enamelled Blue Glass Decanter

On offer here is a stunning and very rare 19th century Bristol blue glass decanter. This piece is stunning, it is gilded and enamelled, the enamelled picture I am not certain is in my opinion either Major General Lord Kitchener of Khartoum or General Gordon Khartoum. The decanter is period and stands at approx 14.5 inches tall, the shape colours and design are truly beautiful. This piece perfect would be a fortune however it has damage. It displays fine as you can see from my photographs, however the disc of the stopper has been broken and re-stuck, the neck of the decanter has been broken off and re-stuck and there is some gild and enamel wear, however it looks amazing on display and I know you will never see another, it should still find a place in any collection and be an asset. I am starting it at only £12 with no reserve because of the condition however it is rare and beautiful so good luck.
