1961 British Coin Set 48th Birthday/Anniversary Present *This set is new, direct from the set manufacturer (all coins are original - see description for year of mint)* From the 'British Year Set Collection' range: visit our ebay store to view the full range (multiple buy to compound carriage) at: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/historiccoinandstampsetgifts Our manufacturing process is a precision laser cutting method to create holes in which the coins can be inserted: thus holding securely in position without harming them (beware of similar offerings that secure coins by crudely gluing them into position). The 1961 British year set contains the complete seven coins all issued and dated from the year, namely: halfcrown, florin, Scottish and English shilling, sixpence, threepence and penny. The halfpenny was not issued dated 1961. All of the coins are in Fine (or better) condition. We don't clean/polish coins as this will devalue the collection: find out why This would make a wonderful and original gift for someone born or married in 1961 as 2009 would be their 48th birthday or anniversary! This would also make an excellent Christmas, Fathers Day, Mothers Day etc present.
