Isopropyl Alcohol is an excellent solution for cleaning in a wide range of applications.

Applications:

• IPA can be used to clean food preparation surfaces, bars counters and other surfaces.

• IPA can be used in antiseptic and antibacterial agents.

• IPA is an excellent cleaning solution for use on glass and glazing, ideal for removing soils and stains from clear surfaces and is ideal as a cleaner for glasses, lenses and visors.

• Ideal additive to water for use as a screen wash and is often used in de-icer and anti-freeze applications.

• An ideal cleaner around the home and office.

• It is also often used for cleaning electronic devices such as contact pins (like those on ROM cartridges), magnetic tape deck and floppy disk drive heads, the lenses of lasers in optical disc drives (e.g. CD, DVD) and removing thermal paste from CPUs. It is also used to clean computer monitors and printer heads.

• IPA is often used as an ingredient to air fresheners; with the addition of fragrances. Also find uses in the mediacl and cosmetics industries.

• Stain remover – ideal for particular soils such as lipstick and oil based stains.

• Rinse aid for dish washing applications.

• A fuel additive for dissolving water or ice in fuel lines.

• Can be used as a de-oderiser for shoes.

• Dilute 1 part IPA with 4 parts boiled water to use as a vinyl record cleaner - far cheaper than the "brand name" alternatives.

Evaporates quickly therefore is an ideal cleaner for endless applications.

I personally have used this in a hole load of different jobs around the home, garage and work.
