About Us

We are a friendly motorcycle and scooter breakers, based in the Valleys of South Wales, UK, who are passionate about bikes and scooters. Our team all ride, so know how expensive it is to keep a bike or scooter on the road, so we try to keep our prices as low as possible and our service first rate, a policy based on how we would like to be treated.    We sell mainly "twist and go" scooters and some older motorcycles, but we carry a wide range of different makes and models, so please have a look in our shop, or on our website www.recyclescooters.co.uk for our current stock. If you have something to sell, do contact us, as we also buy bikes, scooters, projects, MOT failures and boxes of bits.     Feedback is very important to us. We want happy, satisfied customers. We aim to ensure your experience with us is smooth and trouble free. If you do have a problem then please feel free to contact us and our team will try to put things right and ensure that you are happy with the outcome. We leave feedback straight after payment so you can feel confident that we will deal with you fairly and honestly.   We are more than happy, where possible, to provide advice on the part/s you may need and we recommend other companies who may be able to help you, if we cannot.     Personal customers are always welcome to collect orders. You can be sure of a smile, a friendly welcome and we make excellent tea! Payment

We accept Papyal, postal orders, credit and debit cards and Escrow as methods of payment. Our preferred method of payment is credit or debit card or Paypal. Cash is an acceptable method of payment for items collected in person.    If you are sending payment using Royal Mail please use either Recorded Post or Royal Mail Special Delivery.    International buyers must pay with Paypal, no other payment options are available.    All Auction and "Buy It Now" prices include VAT.

Shipping

We take great care packaging every item to ensure safe shipment to you and we try to use recycled and environmentally friendly packaging wherever possible.    We post every weekday and have an order turnaround time of two working days although we aim, where possible,  to post your order the same day as we receive your payment. We post most items weighing less than 2kg by First Class Recorded Delivery and heavier items by Standard Parcels. We offer optional insurance which we strongly recommend for items with a value of over £36.00.     International items are either sent Airmail for small items under 2kg or with a signed for courier service for larger items and all items over 2kg. If you have any specific shipping requirements do let us know and we will try our very best to accommodate you.     Our bikes and scooters can either be collected from Cwmaman, South Wales or can be delivered by a fully insured specialist motorcycle courier firm. Their service is excellent and their prices very reasonable.

Terms

We represent that the goods are as described in the above listing. We specifically disclaim any implied warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Customers should satisfy themselves that any item purchased is suitable for their intended purpose or use.     As part of our privacy policy all your details will be kept confidential and will not be passed on to any one else We shred any printed papers with customer details straight after use and we will not keep records of credit or debit cards on our computer system.

Returns

We operate a return policy on all our items, both new and second hand. You may cancel your order and return your goods up to fourteen days after receipt.    All our items, both new and used, are security marked to ensure a quick and easy processing of your refund should one be required.    Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded, However we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay for and safely ship the item back to us. If the item is found to be faulty, we will also refund all the postage costs.
