    THE SPINDLE MUSHROOMS MEASURE 48 MM IN LENGTH, MUCH LONGER THAN MANY EBAY SELLERS, WHICH OBVIOUSLEY GIVES YOU EXTRA PROTECTION !

THEY ALSO FIT SIZE FOR SIZE IN THE SPINDLE BORE SO WILL NOT FLOAT ABOUT IN THE EVENT OF A SPILL UN-LIKE MANY EBAY SELLERS OFFER!!

THE SET ALSO INCLUDES  FRAME MUSHROOMS MADE FROM HIGH DENSITY acetal  AND COME COMPLETE WITH M10 X 1.25 FINE PITCH BOLT (DE-EMBRITTLED SO WILL NOT SNAP ON IMPACT)

BOTH FRAME SLIDERS ARE ENGINE MOUNTED.

This set of sliders will fit on a 96-05 gsxr 600, 96-05 gsxr 750, and a 01-04 gsxr 1000 sportbike.  This kit bolts right on, with slight modifications to the left fairing required on some models. If the left engine mount is exposed, no cutting is required. These sliders bolt into the upper engine mount, replacing the existing bolts.
NO fairing cutting on these models:

CUTTING OF THE LEFT HAND FAIRING IS REQUIRED ON THE FOLLOWING MODELS

  • 99-05 HAYABUSA
 
Installation Instructions:
Remove your fairings, and find the engine mount locations where the sliders fit. They are made for a specific location. They will only fit in one place, and in one orientation. Once you have the sliders mounted, you need to cut the fairings so that the sliders stick out of the fairing if cutting is necessary. 
REMOVE FAIRING AND PAINT END OF BOLT
OFFER FAIRING ON TO THE BIKE - BOLT WILL LEAVE A MARK ON INSIDE OF FAIRING
PILOT DRILL AND CHECK IF IN CORRECT POSITION
USE A CONE CUTTER TO DRILL OUT TO DESIRED DIAMETER COMING FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE FAIRING
REMOUNT FAIRING AND CRASH MUSHROOMS

They are made from high quality acetal  and come with 2 high tensile zink coated countersunk screws with allen key heads.
