This auction is for 5L of high quality liquid latex plus 500ml of latex thickener.

Latex

Liquid latex is extracted from rubber trees in Malaysia and has 0.3% ammonia added to assist hardening and approx 60% rubber solids.

The latex can be used for lots of different purposes special effect etc, And applied by brushing, spraying, dipping or pouring, I mainly use it for making garden ornament moulds with.

The latex is of the highest quality and HAS NOT been thinned down in any way!

Latex Thickener

I have added in the listing 500ml of latex thickener (Which does what it says!).

 All the guides say add about 10% thickener to the liquid latex! I have supplied 10% thickener but don’t add it all at once as it might prove to be quite thick! (I use about 5% when making my moulds)

About Me

I have been making moulds now for over 15 years mainly garden ornaments. Until about 6 years ago we had been buying our latex at stupid prices from a well known mould making firm only to find out that they had been thinning down the latex! (I can’t name the firm for legal reasons) We then found the direct importer of latex south of Birmingham and have been buying directly from them ever since!

We buy latex in big quantities 1000kg a time but due to new company policies the minimum order now is 3000kg which is more than we use a year (But the savings are also better :) ) this is why I have decided to sell the latex on eBay and pass some of the savings directly to you.
