Our preferred payment method is Paypal.We also accept cheques and postal orders from UK buyers but these will have to clear before any goods are posted.Please make cheques and postal orders payable to J ChappellWe also accept Paypal Echeques but please be aware that they can take 7-10 working days to clear.Payment should be made within 5 days from the end of the auction.

We take great care packaging every item to ensure safe shipment to you. We try to keep postage and packaging charges as low as possible but as some items may require extra or special packaging that will be reflected in the postage price. Once your order has been processed and we have received cleared payment, your item will be dispatched normally the same day if not then the next working day.We Always combine postage if you buy more than one item from us. The Postage you pay depends on the weight and value of the items and were they are being sent to.Please note all postage charges assume a UK mainland address, excl highlands, please contact us for rates for Highlands and Islands.

In the rare event that you have a problem with your item please contact us and we'll be happy to help.Terms of sale:    * All the bikes and accessories we sell are brand new (unless clearly stated). All bikes are sold as and considered to be marked to cover the transit process and are factory boxed which means some adjustment and assembly is required. This can include set up of gears (including the straightening of the gear hanger) brakes and and can even include trueing of wheels. Mountan Bikes Direct recommends this is done by a qualified cycle mechanic to ensure safety. The images we use are for illustrative purpose only, Mountain Bikes Direct reserves the right to alter specification without prior notice and also to substitute for similar or newer models of equal or greater specification. Cross mountain bikes do not include side stands as the images portray. All items MUST be paid for within 3 days of the end of the auction or the item will be relisted and appropriate negative feedback left. All frame sizes are approximate plus / minus 11/2".    * All warranties are return to base meaning the customer is responsible for shipping the product back to us and its return carriage. Labour will be charged on all warranty repairs.    * Bikes are shipped with various carriers who are unable to specify a time for delivery. in most cases we can offer track and trace numbers. We aim to dispatch within 3 working days in MOST cases. All bikes must be sent, no collections are permitted.    * Highlands of Scotland add £10.00 (postcodes PH19-44 IV KW PA20-88 ZE KA27 & KA28)    * Northern Ireland, Isle of white, isle of Man and all offshore islands please add £15.00

You may return unused and unopened items within 7 days after the day of delivery of delivery for exchange or refund excluding original and return postage costs. Items must be unused and in the original packaging. If the return is a result of an error by The Shimano Shop and you have received an incorrect or defective item then we will refund reasonable return postage costs. Please contact us before returning items.You can contact us through Ebay if you have any questions about the item or returning it to us.
