This is an outstanding value casting kit, everything is included to make beautiful lifelike casts of your baby's hands/feet and also display them in a **luxury British handcrafted dark wood / mahogany colour with antique gold trim effect frame (**Do note that the size of the frame is much larger than most other kits for sale on Ebay!  This frame has been designed specifically for a 6x4 inch standard photo + 6.5x4.5 inch display area + 2.2 inch depth for casts.  Plus the frame is handmade in the UK - it's not a cheap China import!). 

I display my son's castings and photo vertically, but of course you can display the frame horizontally, with the photo on the left or right, or vertically with the photo at the bottom and casts on the top!  You can even do away with the mount card and display your castings only within the box frame (you would probably want to purchase a new mount card to frame them, but these can be picked up very cheaply at art/craft stores). 

Every single tiny line/wrinkle/print detail of your baby's hands/feet is captured, you'll be amazed at the detailed result and will treasure your casts forever more.  

As a mother myself, I am only too aware of how quickly babies soon grow and it's hard to imagine just how small they once were.  By taking casts of their tiny feet and/or hands, you will always have a memento/keepsake of that special time.  The kit comes well packaged making this item an ideal purchase for either yourself or if you are sending as a gift.

The casting kit contains plenty of dental, high grade colour change (chromatic) alginate impression powder - which is totally safe for use on your baby as the alginate's main ingredient is seaweed!  (Dentists use this exact same alginate in their patient's mouths, it conforms to British Standards BS 4269 Pt.2: 1991 & ISO 1563:1990).  There's 454g pack per kit, which is nearly double than some other kits available on Ebay - this 454g amount will make approx. 6+ casts.  Plus there's 800g of casting plaster - again, double than what some other kits are offering.  The frame is a good large size that will take a standard sized 6 x 4 photo, so no need for getting out your scissors!  The price of this kit represents outstanding value compared to other kits out there on the market.  Whether you are purchasing this kit for yourself or as a present, you will not be disappointed with the quality -

The casting section of the kit comprises of the following:

• 454g Colour change (chromatic) dental grade Alginate (double that of some other kits available on Ebay)
• 800g High Grade Casting Plaster (double that of some other kits available on Ebay)
• 6 Polybags
• 2 plastic cups
• Cocktail sticks
• Bronze Metallic Paint (this kit comes with Bronze Metallic paint, though you can paint your casts any colour you like, a trip to the DIY/craft store for alternative colours is all that's needed!)
• Artists Paintbrush
• Glue
• And of course, easy to follow instructions!

The frame section of the kit:

The luxury, handcrafted in the UK, dark wood / mahogany colour with antique gold effect trim frame will easily compliment any decor around the home.   The frame measures: 

(Glass):  Length 11.5" x Width 8.5" x Depth 2.2".  This box frame has plenty of depth to it as if baby's hand is curled up instead of spread out then it will take up more room.  This frame is designed to allow for that extra room.   The frame is larger than most on Ebay, offering a professional & well proportioned display for your photo & castings.

The Cream Mount card is designed to hold a standard 6x4" photograph & the display area measures Length 6.5" x Width 4.5".

The backing card is also Cream (an exact colour match to the mount card).
