Note: These items are just a spanner/ wrench. They are not a knife or weapon. This listing includes FREE Postage and Packing WORLDWIDE I am offering two different tools for un-doing the round nuts on bayonets. For this listing you will receive BOTH tools. The first is for a 1907 bayonet and the second is for the K98 bayonet. The 1907 tool: Will undo/ tighten the nuts on a 1907 (SMLE) bayonet or similar. (It works fine on a 1907 bayonet I have, just clear out any dirt from the nut slots first with a needle. If the nuts are really tight, lubricate them with WD40 or a similar releasing oil first). The tool has an end diameter of 9mm. I have been reliably told that it also works with the following bayonets: i. WW1 German Butcher's Bayonet (98/05), ii. WW1 German Quillback Bayonet (98) iii. WW1 American P17 Bayonet iv. WW2 Enfield No5 ( Jungle carbine) v. WW1 1903 Bayonet vi. WW1 1907 Bayonet Basically, if your bayonet has 9mm diameter round slotted nuts it should work on it. I do not know if the tool is new or old (as it came with several others/ types in a job lot of tools I bought). The end of the tool has two tiny rectangular prongs and a hole (see the photo). The tool has a blued metal finish with a bare metal cross bar. It is a bit oily with a few marks/ scratches. The tool has the letter 'E' (I think) stamped on it. The K98 tool: Will undo/ tighten the nuts on a German K98 bayonet or similar. (It works on a K98 bayonet I have tried, just clear out any dirt from the nut slots first with a needle). The tool has an end diameter of 7mm, so if your bayonet has 7mm diameter round slotted nuts it should work on it. I do not know if the tool is new or old as it came with several others/ types in a job lot of tools I bought. The end of the tool has two tiny rectangular prongs and a hole (see the photo). The tool has a blued metal finish on the main part and a bare metal cross piece. It is a bit oily and rough in places (a few marks/ scratches from use).
