What is Pashmina?

Pashmina is the traditional Indian & Nepalese name for the very finest grade of cashmere wool. They are collected in the high plateau regions of Ladakh, Nepal and the central plains of Inner Mongolia. All the shawls we offer are made with this very fine grade of cashmere.

Pashmina is woven into an exquisite wool that is soft to touch, light in weight and warm to wear. Like the goats it comes from, pashmina wool is remarkably versatile and rugged.
