 Old colour postcard of some public gardens with a pavilion in the background

Stamps:  2 1/2d (red) Queen Elizabeth II

Cancellation/Date Stamp:  Circular date stamp - Torquay - 1.15 PM (?) - 25 JNE - 1959 - Devon

Across the stamp appears a slogan cancellation advertising the "June Dairy Festival" with lines (depicting the rays of the sun!)

Condition:  Good - corner knocks & creases - light edge wear - no surface creases, but the sender of the card had a heavy hand-imprint of handwriting can be seen on front if card is held at an angle to the light  - faintly yellowed on reverse

Remember - "condition" is purely a subjective (or personal) viewpoint - so please view scans carefully to avoid disappointment.  The scans constitute part of the item description.  Any "pinkiness", cross-hatching or other regularly spaced boxes/lines are due to my scanner - they do not appear on the card
