THE NEW CHALET SCHOOL by Elinor M. Brent-Dyer (part of the Chalet School Series). Published by W & R Chambers Ltd. Reprint. 1950.

"Troubles are not far to seek in the New Chalet School. These emanate chiefly from Maria and Mario, children of Prince Balbini, and ring-leaders of the "Mystic M". A succession of snuff and stinkbomb attacks make the "rounding-up" of the "Mystic M" imperative, and Jo is called upon to give her help". The thirteenth of the Chalet School Series is brimful of adventure and mystery. A classic children's book of the 1950s.

Light brown boards with black lettering on spine. The front and rear boards are in fine condition with only minor marks and creases. The spine is in good condition but appears to be slightly loose. The internal pages are all intact and in nice condition although there is slight foxing on the edges. The dustjacket is in quite good condition - slight creasing at top and bottom of spine and top of front cover: also small tears along the top and bottom edge of front cover. The back cover has some marks. Unclipped.
