This addition to our "Coorie doon and dream" collection of baby bedding is a soft single layer 100% cotton stretch Sleep Pod which is available in your choice of any of the following five colours : White, Cream, Pink, Blue, Aqua or Yellow. Each Swaddler Sleep Pod comes to you in a little organza bag making it the ideal gift for new parents.

The unique design of this Swaddler allows you to either tuck your babies hands into the folded end or tuck your baby in with the arms free option.
The Swaddler Sleep Pod is really easy to use as there is no messing around with bits of Velcro (doesn’t it drive you crazy when everything sticks to the Velcro in the washing machine!) and no need to be an expert at origami either. The Coorie Sleep Pod is designed to simply slip on your baby like a sock and have them all 'cooried doon' in seconds.
This little Swaddler is ideal for those hot summer days and can also be used in the winter months with appropriate layers of blankets/ covers.
This listing is for the standard size swaddler which is suitable for newborn to approx 3 months. As our Swaddlers are hand cut and manufactured locally here in Scotland we can custom make our pods in any size at no extra cost, simply email me the size that you require and allow a few days for custom make up.

Cooried doon is a well known Scottish term meaning to be snuggled in all cozy and comfy. Matt McGinn a well loved Scottish songwriter, poet and author, who coincidentally was born in the same area of Glasgow where our slings are manufactured, wrote a beautiful miners lullaby called cooried doon ,which describes the term and it’s meaning so much better than anything I could write. All of our Swaddlers are designed precisely to achieve that feeling of being cooried in for your baby. Being cooried in can help your baby to sleep better and for longer as it gives them a sense of security and our Swaddler Sleep Pods can be effective in reducing the effects of your baby’s normal startle reflex. After having twelve children of my own, I know from experience that there is nothing more frustrating than getting your wee one off to sleep only to have them suddenly jerk themselves awake! Being cooried in certainly helps avoid that happening. Remember the aim of being cooried in is to have your baby feel snuggled, cozy, comfy and secure, NOT to heat your baby so always follow the FSID recommendations regarding baby’s temperature and sleeping your baby in the feet to foot position.
