Slings are made with beautiful colour co-ordinated rings and are the ONLY rings as recommended in Mothering magazine. Did not get name of guy who was so helpful when I rang the other day. I had wanted the murrons pouch due to simplicity but as size difference was so great between me and my wife I thought it best to check out first. Whoever took my call is a star! How it came to be

The Freedom Sling is the most versatile sling around. As the mother of twelve (12) children aged 22yrs to 2years, I must have seen and tried every type of baby carrier on the market including backpacks, baby pouches, etc. and took me until the birth of my last baby to find one that meets both mine and my baby’s needs.    

When I first discovered the Ring Sling my first impressions were that it was too good to be true, the simple design of it made me doubt its capabilities, but it took only one wearing of this style with my baby to appreciate that for all its simplicity this style actually really works, it is the most comfortable, versatile and practical baby carrier I have ever worn.

With eleven other children to look after,  I need to have a carrier which I can rely on to be comfortable, allow me to breastfeed my baby on the move, not restrict my movements ie. I need to be able to use both arms whilst wearing it, be suitable for all the adults at home who want to use it to carry Saoirse ie. Mum, Dad, older brothers and sisters, easy to change Saoirse's position from upright to sleeping without removing the sling and finally as Saoirse does not like to be put down in her cot to sleep during the day one that is easy to transfer a sleeping baby from sling to bed without disturbing her.

With all of this in mind I designed the Padded Freedom Sling to do all of this and more. 

I have worn Saoirse in her sling since she weighed just over 5lbs and during this time also worn Faith, then aged 3 1/2 years.  The sling is just as comfortable to wear with a new born as it is with an older toddler.

I have added a deep pocket in the tail (I used mine to carry, a nappy, travel wipes, my purse, mobile phone and Saoirse's cup when I go out shopping which saved me carrying a bag!!). 

Freedom Slings can hold and support your baby to allow for breastfeeding on the move ( in my case that usually meant pushing  a shopping trolley, seeing to Faith answering the door etc.!!!)
