This medical grade knee-high compression sock is made from the same Tactel material that is worn by sports stars to keep cool and dry. The result is a thinner yet stronger material which also has a wicking function that draws sweat away from the skin. This function keeps your feet dry and therefore comfortable, and also controls odor. Tactel will also last much longer than comparable natural fibers. The sleeker material makes for an elegant look. Standard compression stockings in black can present an appearance problem because the black does not look uniform throughout because areas of higher tension will appear lighter and even silverish. The Tactel/Lycra combination looks uniformly black throughout.

To determine if this is the right size sock for you, measure the circumference of your ankle right above the ankle bone. Next measure the circumference of your calf at the fullest part of the calf. Finally measure the distance from a point just below you knee to the ground while standing.

Ankle Circumference:   7 3/4 - 8 3/4 inch

Calf Circumference:     13 - 14 1/2 inch

Knee Height                 13 3/4 - 15 1/2  inch
