FOR SALE WITH NO RESERVE!!! & £0.99p STARTING BID

53’ VW Golf R32 with only 44500 miles and a FSH….

Lovingly looked after, private number plate included in sale, non-smoker…

Viewing is highly recommended, as it will sell the car no doubt….

Now ive been looking at other R32’s for sale on here with what appear to be mad reserves, I don’t know what planet the other owners are on but it’s not the same one as me, im not looking for stupid money, neither am I going to give it away, so please don’t make me stupid offers, and im not looking to part ex as ive aranged my next vehicle already.

The car is in great condition, apart from a handful of stone chips, which only age can blame

The drivers seat has a few little marks on the side where you get in and out, but that’s about it.

The number plate on the front was re-positioned by the previous owner, this is a private plate and will be included in the sale.

Ive just renewed the road tax for another 6 months.

Noticing the road tax, are you aware of the road tax fee changes to high emission vehicles, beware of R32’s and £400/pa tax on newer models… this one being a 53 plate was on the road before the changes came into effect, so benefits from the older cheaper tax fee’s, beware of any R32 newer than a 53 as you will be paying £400/pa road tax.

Oil in the car has been changed every 4000 miles, a bit un-necessary I know, but after owning turbo cars it’s become a bit of a habit and does more good than harm.

Insurance is cheap, I pay only £46.00 / month and im 22 with 5 years NCB.

Economy wise its not going to be brilliant regardless of what people tell you, it’s a 3.2 V6 for crying out loud, although its not expensive either, returns around 35mpg at 70 – 90 mph on the motor way, and 22mpg around town, now for a car with this much torque, that’s impressive.

The car has 4 new tyres not too long ago, I don’t know how many miles, but the coloured strips on them can still be seen.

Everything works on the car and it drives well, 6 speed gearbox, Konig heated half leather sports seats with lumbar support (full leather stretches and looks tacky, beware!!), electric windows and heated electric mirrors, premium sound system, climate control, automatic dimming rear view mirror, automatic windscreen wipers, Bi-xenon headlights, headlight washers, rear head rests, multi-twin function trip computer, ABS, genuine low mileage, 4 wheel drive, Electronic Stability Program, 8 air bags, aluminium trim interior, Alloy Wheels, AM/FM Radio, CD player with Ipod USB connection.

The car is advertised elsewhere, so I reserve the right to end auction without prior notice to any bidders, viewing is welcome by prior arrangement and any inspection by a third party is also welcome.

Please no time wasters, or test pilots, bidders are bidding to buy not to come any view with the attitude of haggling, I am offering the opportunity to view before you bid so therefore I will not entertain you if you show up with this attitude, £100 deposit via paypal upon item end, and remaining ballance in cash upon collection.

Bidders may contact me on 07917 340 446 or by using the message seller tool.

Good luck and happy bidding.

“Here’s what Top Gear Magazine have to say about the MK4 VW Golf R32”

"The VW Golf R32 V6 4Motion handles like a dream and sounds like a symphony!!!"

There's a lot more to the R32 than serious horsepower, but the age-old formula of big engine in a small(ish) car still serves up the thrills. The 3.2-litre V6 engine fitted to the R32 is a massively revised version of the perennial 2.8-litre V6 (nee VR6) unit that powered up-spec MK4 Golfs like the V6 4Motion.

The engine will rev to a heady 7,800rpm and the soundtrack alone is worth the price of admission. The engine does its best work between 1,100 and 5,000rpm, where the monstrous torque renders the six-speed manual gearbox almost superfluous. The gear change is one of VW's best efforts; smooth with a decent weight to the change linked to a heavy duty clutch, yet at any speed between 30mph and 130mph, its tempting to just leave the R32 in fourth gear and hitch your surfboard to that huge swell of torque.

And with the four-wheel dive '4Motion' system, unlike your rival M3 driver, you can get all that power onto the tarmac and enjoy more bhp more of the time. To ride in, the R32 is more akin to the softer-sprung Mercedes C32AMG; yes, you can attack the country lanes but there isn't the drawback of a fidgety ride on the motorway. Technically, as long as you can live with the cars thirst and sonorous exhaust note the R32 is a very useable everyday car.

Bored and stroked to increase capacity, it was also destined for Volkswagen's own Touareg 4x4 and Porsches Cayenne off roader as well as Volkswagen's Phaeton luxury cruiser. With a variable intake, a specialist intake manifold, a revised cylinder head design and exhaust camshaft adjustment, the R32s power plant is up a full 43bhp on the 2.8-litre lump that spawned it.

The interior has been livened up from the usual sh*thole Golf cabin. Ball burnished aluminium trim features on the pedal set, around the major instruments and inlaid into the dash and doors. There's also a large clutch footrest which, like the rest of the pedals, is inlaid with rubber R logos. A monogrammed steering wheel, and adjustable heated bucket seats. VW even added R32 styling to the floor mats.

The exterior changes include a triple gaping maw of a front air intake, a lower ride height, 18-inch alloy wheels, unique front bumpers and side sills and the silver R32 badging on prow and posterior

0-62mph comes up in 6.3 seconds and will only stop accelerating at 153mph. 4Motion intelligent four wheel drive deploys the power to the tarmac cleanly and efficiently with a minimum of wheel spin, and it is here that the Volkswagen scores over its rivals. Accelerating out of tight, wet corners, the all-wheel drive Golf just grips and goes, whereas even Ford's trick 'Quaife differential' cant perform such miracles. The Volkswagen feels even quicker than the figures would suggest, with a massive surge of mid range torque flinging it up the road. Amazing!!!
