The New Kidde Carbon Monoxide Digital Alarm offers protection to the family from deadly carbon monoxide poisoning and has a Digital display which shows CO levels detected every 15 seconds which can be recalled using the peak level memory feature. It is Mains-Powered with a battery Back-Up for worry free protection. Common sources of Carbon Monoxide are from a Vehicle left running in attached garage, a clogged Chimney, a corroded or disconnected Water Heater Vent Pipe, a Gas or Wood burning Fireplace, a cracked or loose Boiler Flute, an improperly installed Gas Cooker, Hob or Hood, from operating a Grill indoors or in a garage, from a Portable Paraffin or Gas Heater. All of which we use daily and cannot live without!!!

ALARM FEATURES:

Carbon Monoxide Protection: offers protection from deadly CO poisoning.

Digital Display: Shows CO danger levels and the reading is updated every 15 seconds.

230V Main powered: Runs off household electricity with UK Mains adaptor (included).

Battery Back-up: Will protect you even during power-cuts (a 9V battery is included).

85 Decibel Alarm: Loud Alarm alerts you if CO levels become dangerous.

Peak Level Memory: Alerts you of dangerous levels of CO detected in your absence.

Test / Reset Button: Allows you to test the alarm operation.

Indicators: Yellow LED light to indicate an error, Green LED light to indicate power, Red LED light to indicate Alarm.

Low Battery Alert: The Unit will beep and the Yellow LED will flash every 15 seconds.

5 Year Warranty: Alarm Warranty is from date of purchase.

Flexible Mounting Options: Install as a direct plug-in, as a table-top unit, or as a wall mounted unit.

Corgi approved and Meets all required quality standards within the UK BS Kite Mark and has passed the required European standards.

                                                The unit will protrude approximately 5cm / 2" when plugged in.

Response Times: At 30 ppm, unit must not alarm before 120mins.
                     At 50 ppm, unit must alarm within 60 - 90 mins.
                                 At 100 ppm, unit must alarm within 10 - 40 mins.
                             At 300 ppm, unit must alarm within 3 mins.

WARNING:
This alarm is designed to protect individuals from acute effects of Carbon Monoxide exposure. It will not fully safeguard individuals with specific medical conditions - if in doubt consult a Medical Practitioner.
This alarm is intended for use in ordinary indoor locations of family living units. It is not designed to measure in compliance with commercial or industrial standards.
A Carbon Monoxide Alarm is not a substitute for a smoke alarm or a combustible gas detector.
