Gents of Leicester 18" Slave Clock showing seconds

Welcome to my auction for an 18" Gents of Leicester slave clock. Not easy to date but I would think 1940/1950. It has been tested on a seconds master clock and works very well. I think anybody who likes master clocks will realise that big slaves showing seconds are quite hard to come by. It also has an added bonus in that the case is made of brass. There is no glass in this clock as it was broken many years ago, however I can get one cut for a few pounds and it is much better to ship this clock without glass.

I hope that this clock is not stripped down to the brass and a quartz movement placed in it. I do have a master clock showing seconds if anybody wants one.
