This universal charger is the only charger you will ever need. The Universal charger is designed to charge virtually any type of Li-ion Battery used in a Digital Camera, Camcorder or Mobile Phone (other than Konica DR-LB1, Samsung SB-P90A and SB-P180A, Sony NP-FH and NP-FP series).The charger has a sturdy build, it’s easy to use and can be set up to work in less than 5 minutes. Operating instructions:

1.    Connect the power adapter to the charger unit

2.    Withdraw the Slip Block and align the contact plates of the charger to match the battery contact points. Use a pointed tool such as a pencil, ballpoint pen to move the contact plates. “+” “-” (Polarity matching is not required as Microprocessor of the charger senses polarity and adjust charge accordingly)

3.     Release the Slip Block

4.    Connect the power adapter to the Mains power supply.

5.    The power indicator should light up Red and the charge indicator flashing green to indicate commencing of charge.

6.    When charge is completed flashing will stop. Continue to keep in charge for further 30 minutes to ensure full charge.

Trouble shooting

1.    No indicator lights:

a.    Check power supply is available

b.    Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to the Charger unit.

c.     Try using the Car adapter to check

2.    Power lights only and no flashing green light

a.    Contact point of the Charger port not aligned and in contact with the battery “+” “-” points. Take the battery out to adjust and install again.

b.    Contact may be covered with dirt – clean contacts of the charger and battery

c.     Faulty battery

3.    Charge indicator is solid Green and not flashing green:

a.    Battery may have been fully charged. Discharge battery fully by normal use and try again.

4.    Charge indicator shows battery as fully charged but the battery is not alive in the camera.

a.    Defective battery – please try charging with a new battery.
