This is a faulty customer return item from a national high street retailer.
 
Testing: We have powered up this unit and have found that it will not read CDs. The casing has a few minor cosmetic marls, but it is in good condition.
 
This auction is for the radio unit with power lead, remote control, antenna, manual and original box only. PLEASE NOTE: Any other accessories or parts are NOT included. Please see photos for details of everything that is included with this auction.
 
Product Information
The Chronos CD is an elegant, compact, DAB/CD clock radio, which delivers superb digital-quality audio from its stereo speakers, fitting the maximum audio performance into the minimum space.
 
Chronos CD has easy-to-use bedside features including four completely independent alarms that can be set for weekdays, weekends, daily or as one offs – each with the choice of waking up to either DAB digital radio, FM, CD or a simple tone alarm.
 
A sleep timer allows you to drop off to your favourite station and the all-important snooze button is easy to find, with an adjustable snooze time for an extra lie-in when you deserve it.
 
The light sensor adjusts the display brightness to suit the ambient light in your room, and handy front-panel connectors enable you to play an iPod/MP3 player through the stereo speakers and to connect headphones.
 
For the ultimate in convenience, Chronos CD is supplied with its own infrared remote control so you can operate all of the main functions and features even if it is on the other side of the bedroom.

We take PayPal, bank transfers, cheques, cash and postal orders and require payment within 4 days of the auction ending.

Shipping Details

Our shipping charges include; the cost of shipment; the cost of packing materials; wages for our packing staff, insurance and the current rate of VAT. For the avoidance of doubt - VAT is INCLUDED in the quoted shipping amount. 

We will offer combined shipping provided the items are purchased within a 5 day window - please contact us for details prior to bidding.  (Please note some items will be too heavy/bulky to combine).

For most items under one kilo we ship via Royal Mail. Otherwise we use either 24 or 48 hour couriers.  Items shipped on pallets will take between 48 and 72 hours of the item being shipped, and you will be contacted to arrange a suitable day.   Please ensure you provide an available contact number on payment.

Your items are usually shipped within 2 working days of your payment clearing (Pallet dispatch is 3 working days from payment).  This is the shipping date, not the delivered date.  If you have not received them within 5 days of your payment clearing please email us on ebay@xsitems.com or customer support telephone on 0845 200 8370.

Please ensure you check the packaging carefully before signing for the delivery. If you have any doubts please sign for it as 'unchecked' or as damaged. This is essential to support any damage claim against the courier.  In addition, please keep the original packaging materials.

Courier UK shipping costs quoted are to the UK mainland only. A courier surcharge of £5/box will apply for Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Channel Islands, Northern Scotland, Scottish Highlands and Islands and the Scilly Isles.  Royal Mail charges are for across the UK.

For shipping costs to any other location, please contact us before bidding for a specific quote.

If you require a change of address and are paying via PayPal, please add the address to your PayPal account. Please note we cannot change delivery addresses after payment is made.

Pick Up/Collections

Items can be picked up with prior agreement; Tuesday to Friday; 9.30-16.30. As we are an internet based delivery company we charge £5.00 per pick up to cover additional overhead costs relating to collections.

Items that are picked up cannot be returned - please inspect them thoroughly before taking away.

If you are picking your item up we only accept cash - any PayPal payment will be refunded.  Pick ups required within 5 days of purchase otherwise storage fees will apply at £10/day.  Opening times; Tuesday to Friday 9.30-16.30.

Returns

Returns: The seller warrants to you that the goods will materially conform with the descriptions given in the listing and that the seller agrees and is able to sell the goods to you.

Goods purchased via auction may only be returned for 'mis-description' if you notify us by email within 7 days of receiving the goods setting out why the goods are mis-described. Returns must be pre-agreed.  If the item is found to be 'as described' the purchaser may be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us as well as the original postage.

Goods purchased via fixed price listings may be returned if you notify us by email within 7 days of receiving the goods and return them within 14 days. Returns must be pre-agreed.  If the item is as described the purchaser may be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.

If an item is delivered in its original packaging, it will need to be returned in the same packaging and condition - please do not dispose of it as we cannot accept returns that are not returned in this way.

Items that are picked up cannot be returned - please inspect them thoroughly before taking away.
