BEAUTIFULL ANTIQUE FRENCH OAK SEWING TABLE CABINET

 Antique French Sewing Cabinet

Dating to the end of the 19th century, this beatiful French Oak table is in lovely condition.Standing on it's original brass and ebony casters, the table has reeded turned and tapered legs.

To one end of the table / cabinet there are 2 drawers which are constructed with hande cut dovetail joints and both have their original turned wooden knobs. Below these drawers there is a pull slide. This slide, I think would have been added at a later date.

To the other end there is a drop down flap with it's original knob and catch.

When the table is closed it mearures 21 inches by 14.5 inches and when both flaps are raised it measiures 21 inches by 27.5 inches with a height of 27. 5 inches.

There has in the past been a small amount of historical insect attack to the underside of the table. Although this is old, I have sprayed the whole table with a  5 star 30 year treatment.

The cabinet is in it's original pollish, though I have given it a coat of wax to enhance the fine grain figuation.

The cost to deliver this cabinet to Mainland Uk is £30.00 with Parcel Force 48.
