Second Layer is not bound and is a milky white. This layer is thrown away.

Third Layer is the Carbon (Purple Paper). By pressing on this layer the purple coating is transferred to the upper sheet.

Fourth Bottom is Yellow and holds the original in place when using a thermal copier machine.
