The photographs are fairly true to colour although they change colour depending on the type and strength of light on them. Why do I hand pick? All 1st quality Geodes are generally good to look at but others have something special about them and I never choose one that I wouldn't want to own myself. I go through hundreds in different colours and pick on average, one in twenty from this top grade. I look for good cutting and surfaces and then for unusual patterns and markings.
