This is not an official Lomo camera but is in the style of the official Actionsampler - please see my auctions for the Lomo Actionsampler/Cybersampler versions, but they do not feature the coloured lenses.

The unusual 10cm camera uses ordinary 35mm film but takes four mini pictures of a subject (in rapid succession) each time the shutter button is pushed and arranges them to fit on an ordinary 6"x4" print which is then processed in the normal way. Each of the four images has a different colour hue reminiscent of pop art produced by Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. The more bizarre the subject matter the more artistic the results.

Each snap of the Pop Cam takes four pictures in the span of one second and preserves them in four different hues on one single print.

The Pop Cam is not a precision instrument, so don't get overly concerned with taking a perfect picture. Excessive setup might spoil the spontaneity, so shoot from the hip! Take pictures of everything from your pet ferret to a can of soup. Use the viewfinder asa vague guide, but don't be confined by it. You're an artist, act like one! For strange effects and blurs, take pictures of moving subjects or wiggle the camera around a bit as you snap the picture. With some imagination and a little experimentation you might capture that perfect Pop Cam picture that will lead to your fifteen minutes of fame.

The Pop Cam works best outdoors in bright daylight using 200 or higher ASA film. No Batteries Required!
