B&W Bowers & Wilkins DM220 floorstanding speakers

You are bidding for a pair of B&W Bowers & Wilkins DM220 floorstanding speakers in black ash

These are a lovely pair of high quality audio speakers from high quality english manufacturer B&W (Bowers & Wilkins).

These are now classic speakers and date from the early 80's, but are still as good now as they were then.

These feature a twin - push pull cone system (8") and tweeter cone at the top

These were expensive speakers when they were new, and are now a classic mid level speaker

These have removeable fronts, which are both included

These speakers are both currently mounted on stands, but the boxes I have ready to package these speakers in are NOT big enough for the stands to fit in to - just the speakers, therefore the stands will NOT be included - unless you wish to collect these in person, and you can have the stands as well (please note - the edging on the stand bases has peeled off, so will need to be replaced - but they are FREE).

As I will be taking the speakers off the stands, there will be 4 screw holes in the bottom of the speakers, but as they will be either standing on the floor or on stands these will not be seen.

These speakers have 2 standard connections on the back, for both bare wire or banana plugs and have also got fuse protection in case of overload.

I would prefer collection of these speakers, but I'm willing to post within the UK at a cost of £15.00 per speaker (fully tracked & insured), as they will have to be packed into 2 separate boxes, these will cost £30 for mainland UK for the 2.

Outside the UK the postage will be a LOT more expensive, as these are HEAVY, and probably won't be cost effective to you - providing I can find a courier that will take them overseas.

These speakers are in a used condition, with only a few minor marks and are in good working order.

Important - Please Read:

I will package and dispatch all items as quickly as possible, but as I have a full time job, I only have evenings to package my items, but I will do this as quickly as humanly possible for you - so please allow me a couple of days or so to package and dispatch (possibly slightly more if I have a lot of items finishing together).

Items will ONLY be sent once your payment has been received in full.

If paying by E-Cheque please allow at least 14 days for it to clear.

If you are collecting in person - cash on collection ONLY please. - ALL items I sell can be collected from me to save on postal costs.

I use a courier service (usually DHL) to send my items, which is normally a next day, but can be up to a 48 hour service (for mainland UK), outside of mainland UK delivery times will vary and will normally be with DHL (ALL items are tracked and a signature required upon delivery).

Re-delivery (if you are not in when the courier calls) in some cases will have to be paid for again, as this is the couriers conditions - not mine.

Lighter items will be posted with royal mail - 1st class, more expensive lightweight items will either be sent with RM Special delivery or by courier.

I will e-mail you with the tracking numbers as soon as I get them, so you can check on the progress of your item(s), and have a good idea when they are coming.

All items will be insured for loss or damage at no extra cost to you.

Saturday and timed deliveries are also possible, if the item is needed urgently, but this costs quite a bit extra - please e-mail me for a quote.

If you have any specific requests for postage, please e-mail, and I will do my best to accomodate your wishes.

You are most welcome to send your own courier to collect if you wish.

I am willing to send my items worldwide, but please e-mail me for a shipping quote PRIOR to bidding, as postage can be quite expensive - especially outside of Europe!!

I will ONLY send items to your registered Paypal address if outside the UK, so if you are requiring delivery to an alternate address, please change it on Paypal prior to paying for your item.

Postal prices quoted are for mainland UK . Northern Ireland and the scottish highlands are slightly more expensive (approx £5-£10 extra - depending on the weight). The republic of Ireland (Southern) is more expensive for postage, as this is classed as Europe (approx £10-15 extra - depending on weight and box size), please email for an exact quote prior to bidding.
