2-DOOR LIGHTWEIGHT CAGES


Lightweight cages are not recommended for untrained or powerful dogs. They are designed for occassional supervised use. They are guaranteed against manufacturers faults but not covered against damage caused by the dog. The trays are classed as consumables and are not covered by waranty. They are not designed to hold a dog on its own, they are designed for their lightness so as to be easy to pull on a trolley at dogshows etc. whilst under supervision.

We only supply 25", 30" and 36" in this range because we feel
that 'cheaper end' cages are not strong enough for the larger dog.

ITEM DISCRIPTION

This is a 2 door lightweight cage. The 36" has 2 bolts per door.

On these cages the frames are 4mm gauge wire with rounded corners for added safety.
The mesh is 3mm gauge. The Mesh spacing is 30mm x 100mm.

Not as strong as our Dual coated range but these economy cages are every bit as good as all the other single coated cages on ebay but at the very bottom of the price range. We don't recommend anything other than the heavy duty dual coated cages for dogs such as Staffies or escape artists.

Metal tray or plastic?

A metal tray is often a cheap tin tray with no serious protection against corrosion. It will have sharp edges which can injure your pet. When you disinfect it any coating to protect against corrosion will be reduced. And if you use it in a car it will rattle. We use heavy duty plastic trays – they slide out for easy cleaning, they are very robust, they are not damaged by cleaning and they have no sharp edges.
