Due to the trade embargos and sanctions on Iraq from 1990, they had to print their own money with some notes printed in China, and it is rumored that some notes were printed on a newspaper printing press, at one time it was easy to spot the fake notes because they were of a much better quality than the real notes, all of these notes used a cheap wood pulp paper instead of a cotton lint paper, that is why a note check pen goes dark brown on most of the Saddam dinars, the Saddam notes will look crude compared to the UK £Pounds in your pocket with few if any security features, most have no water mark, no secureity thread, no intagleo ink (raised ink) no Ultra Violet features, no Micro printing, but on the upside a lot of them do have some Ultra Violet features with different coloured shards showing up under UV light

I am still getting the odd buyer that has not read the above and sometimes leaveing me a negative feedback, (I call the power sellers tel number to get the feedback removed) as I have made it very clear as to why these Saddam notes are as they are, the buyer did contact me and I replyed same day, the problem now is they are an Ebay newbie, and as they sent there message to me on the Ebay messages, so my reply went back to there messages, now the problem is they do not know how to find their messages, so they say, they had no reply from the seller, well DUH, learn to find your messages, and do they send me an Email saying they F£$%$D up, no way Pedro, they are not man enought to admit it when they are wrong, man up boy, you F$£KED up, you know who you are.

P 74 Signature number 23 25 dinar note
P 75 Signature number 23 50 dinar note
P 76 Signature number 23 100 dinar note
It seems the P-76--100 dinar note is very rare
As it was taken out of circulation very soon after it was put into use
Now I hear the 100 dinar note may have been printed in Iran, to try to destableize the Iraqi curency and this is why it was taken out of circulation so soon after being put into use, no doupt there are more storys about this note, so I will leave it up to you to decide if you are going to buy this set of notes, if only for you to complete the set while looking for a better note, I know of one dealer in the Middle East selling the 100 dinar note for $47.85 dollars each, but he has these notes on a backorder at the moment
