Reproduction Roman Verulamium Thimble

This is a bronze plated base metal reproduction of a bronze thimble found on the site of the Roman city of Verulamium (St. Albans). There are no makers marks on the thimble which is approximately 15mm tall by 18mm base diameter. It is one of a series of replica thimbles made by Westair Reproductions.

The thimble is in excellent condition with no holes, chips or repairs, it is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
