please note that Renault are currently on thier 4th generation of modified

pencil coils for the 16v engines. All previous types have subsequently proved

inadequate and fail prematurely. Consequently Renault have moved manufacture

to VALEO who provide the ORIGINAL factory item as supplied by your main dealer.

INSIST ON NOTHING LESS

The Renault ignition system utilises the 'wasted spark' method, which means that two coils are

sparking at any one ignition stroke, so we strongly

recommend that these coils be replaced in pairs.

Either cylinders 1 & 4 (the two outer ends)

or

Cylinders 2 & 3 (the middle two)

that's the boring stuff out of the way, this is what they fit
