Whats in the 36% Kit?

Double sealed for your protection and supplied retail packed. If you have never used a teeth whitening kit before, we recommend that you choose the 23% kit from one of our other auctions. 36% gel is extremely powerful and needs to be used with care to avoid gum irritation and tooth sensitivity.

Our gel is manufactured in the USA by a leading US dental lab and contains 36% carbamide peroxide. This is the same gel that is supplied to dentists thoughout the USA. From your dentist, this treatment would cost hundreds of pounds but now it is available for home use for a fraction of the cost.

The Super-White kit is supplied with detailed instructions for use and guaranteed results. This is a complete kit with nothing else to buy.

Does it actually work?

Carbamide Peroxide is the preferred bleaching agent used in dental bleaching. It will become active when in contact with your teeth and produce a gradual lightening of the surface enamel. It is far more stable than hydrogen peroxide (used for bleaching hair) and therefore has a much longer shelf life.

What stains will it remove?

It will remove stains caused by:

Tobacco
Tetracycline
Tooth aging
Food Colouring
Coffee
etc. etc.

How long does it take?

The time taken depends on a number of factors.
How badly stained are your teeth?
How many shades do you wish to lighten by?

We recommend that you use the 36% kit for a maximum of 10 minutes per session every other day. Most people with badly stained teeth achieve the desired shade in about 7 days.

How long does the whitening last?

Again this will depend on a number of factors
Do you still smoke
How much coffee you drink etc.

We recommend that you repeat the procedure every six months to maintain your shade. Subsequent treatments are often far quicker than the initial one.

How much gel do I need?

Not as much as you might think. Once the trays have been heat formed to your teeth, they will hold just under 0.4 of a CC each. If you use too much gel it will just get squeezed out and may irritate your gums. Used as instructed, our kit has enough gel for appx 30 trays or three complete courses.

How long does the gel last?

Carbamide peroxide is far more stable than hydrogen peroxide and will keep a long time if refrigerated. If not refrigerated we recommend that you use with 6 months of purchase.

Why Remineralize?

Tooth Enamel is the hardest and the most mineralized substance in our bodies. But if neglected will form cavaties or caries. This is caused by natural acids forming in the mouth often due to excess sugar comsumption and lack of cleaning. The acid dissolves the minerals in the tooth enamel, a process called de-mineralization. Tooth whiteners also cause the enamel to de-mineralize as they lighten the stains leaving microscopic pores in the surface of the enamel.

The good news is that your saliva is naturally rich in calcium salts and will immediately get to work to fill these pores with a new layer of enamel.

The bad news is that the calcium concentration in saliva is fairly low so this repair process takes days rather than minutes. In these days following bleaching, these minute pores can accumulate other compounds which can make the whitening appear to fade faster and need to be repeated more often than is otherwise necessary.

Remineralizing gel contains the same type of calcium salts found in your saliva but at a much higher concentration. Combined with flourides, this blend gets to work fast to fill these microscopic pores in minutes. A 5 minute remineralizing process will significantly reduce the after bleaching fade effect and gives your teeth an extra layer of protection.

Although not essential, we recommend that you remineralize after each bleaching process to maximize the bleaching effect and minimise the teeth recovery time.
