All product specifications, images and other information published on our listings have either been made accessible by suppliers, manufacturer's, publications, publicists, or been gathered from public-domain sources. It is our intention at Big-AV to have all information as accurate and as up to date as is possible. However we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information so all customers should be aware it is the responsibility of the individual to ensure they are purchasing the correct product.
Some products may be sold on a to-order basis and therefore may take longer than anticipated due to shortages from manufacturers or circumstances beyond our control. It is your responsibility as a customer to check individual stock levels and delivery times prior to making a purchase. This includes items quoting next day delivery. All delivery times quoted are estimates and are subject to couriers fulfilling those estimates. No refunds will be given due to late deliveries. In relation to special order items please allow up to three months for receipt of goods. Due to the volume of sales that we process, on Ebay and in our high street store, there may be a time when stock listed on Ebay could be unavailable as it has already been sold in our store. Although this is rare, it can happen occasionally. Should this happen we will of course offer the option of a full refund, or the option to upgrade to another or similar item if available. We will not send out a replacement without your consent and any replacement will be sold on the same terms as the original purchase, unless otherwise stated.
Any product suspected to be damaged on arrival MUST be checked before it is signed for. We will not be responsible for damaged items that have been signed as OK with the couriers. Under no circumstances will we be responsible for return postage costs on any item; this includes all warranty claims and cancellations. For full details on warranties offered see our “Me” page
Before returning any goods, you will need an authorisation code obtained by calling 08000 556209 or 01138 151535, during office hours only please, (10AM-4PM). We will only refund goods if it has been pre-authorised and we have received confirmation from you in a durable medium. The refund authorisation will be valid for 14 days. Any goods returned must include the original receipt and also a covering letter explaining the problem, failure to do so WILL incur an admin fee.
Returns will only be accepted if we are notified within 7 days of your receipt of the goods, and only on fixed price listings (No returns on auctions). If the goods are unwanted for any reason they must be returned at your own expense and risk. Any goods returned without prior authorisation will be sent back to you and you will be billed accordingly. Certain Items have to be excluded from our returns policy as a matter of Health and Safety, for this reason we cannot accept returns on any mattress that has been removed from its original packaging, and would see doing so as a breach of statutory duty in relation to the DSRs. Also we would like to state that we see reasonable care in relation to any flat packed furniture would require not building it up, it can be easily examined in pieces. We will not accept returns on furniture you have built up. We must also request you return any packaging to us along with items.
When returning goods, you must ensure-
Goods are received as new along with all of the original packaging complete with ALL accessories, the goods are in a re-sellable condition. If accessories are missing you will be refunded minus the cost of said accessories. Here are some examples of such costs:

No refunds will be given on any special orders. Any free gifts must also be returned.
