This is the best value complete processor kit available on Ebay . This will pay for itself in 2/3 batches So what can you do? Well you can just carry on paying through the nose at the pumps or start to process you own bio diesel. How does 12p per litre sound? Thought so! If you are looking at this then I will assume you are aware that you can now make 2500 litres per year without paying tax, I will also assume you have some idea of what can be achieved by using a processor, so I won't bang on about that either. It's time to go green and keep it simple! ££ MONEY BACK GUARANTEE ££ If you are not happy with the processor kit then simply send it back within 7 days of receiving it for a full no quibble refund. You can collect if you would prefer and we will then have the chance to talk you through the process and show you how it works. The Advantages of this system are that once you have learned the basics you can improve and modify the processor to fit your own needs with all the help and assistance you may need just a phone call away Safety Notice The use of 240 volt electric drills is highly dangerous for mixing chemicals This system advises the use of LOW voltage battery operated equipment not to be used in areas near flammable substances Safety Data sheets are provided for the chemicals used in the production of Bio Diesel (we do not supply chemicals) Production of bio diesel should be carried out in a well ventilated area Full 12 page instruction manual Here is some short footage of the processor in action. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DYJjt_lFcQ Twin tanks? Why two? The first tank is for doing your reactions, once complete it can then be transferred to the second holding tank for storage whilst you start another batch. Drill pump? That's not the proper way to do it, is it? Ask the question 'why not?' Ok so it isn't as expensive looking as a nice self priming pump, but on a basic level what does it do that is any different? The drill pump is a simple design for doing a simple job, rotating liquid, and it will pump at a rate of 3000 litres per hour using a drill at 3000 rpm! That's 50 litres per minute! Does it filter waste oil? Yes it does, it comes supplied with a removable 25 micron filter bag for you to pour your oil straight the processor (the white thing on the top) 25 micron? I have heard it needs to be at least 10 micron! The initial filter is to remove all the horrible stuff that lurks in waste veg oil i.e. chips and burgers and at 25 micron you wouldn't be able to see anything in the oil, there would be nothing left that would worry the pump or any part of the processor. Can you filter the finished product? Unfortunately you can't filter the fuel any further with this unit, but there are many filters available cheaply to filter further if you wish. Do I need to modify my car? No, all diesel cars should run on bio diesel with no modification. You should check with your manufacturer though to see what percentage of bio diesel they recommend. Some can run on 100% bio others need to have normal diesel added to it. What do I need to run the processor? All you need is a single battery drill.(not included) What other equipment do I need to process Bio diesel? Nothing, everything you need is included in the kit. All you will need is Caustic Soda and Methonal. Unfortunately we can't supply these but they are readily available on Ebay. Does it come with a warranty? Yes you get a 30 day warranty on all parts How much would it cost to produce the fuel? The processing costs are approx. 12p per Litre. This includes the methanol, caustic and the electricity used. If you get you oil for free then it will cost you 12p per litre! How long does the process take? To do a batch it would take about 24 hours but the actual 'hands on' time is about 2 hours. How much can I process in the barrel? You can process up to 80 litres in the barrel at anyone time, we don't recommend using less than 40 litres though, but once the batch is complete and transferred to the storage tank you can start another batch. Does the processor heat the oil? Yes it comes with a heating element that has an adjustable thermostat built in so it will never overheat. As the processor is not a conical barrel how do I remove the waste products such as glycerine and water? The processor will draw the waste off using the pump and remove it via the waste hose. Can you wash using the processor? Yes, it come's complete with a misting system built in complete with hozelock style attachment. This allows the gentle washing of the fuel, rather than hitting it with a heavy spray of water which leads to emulsification. Can you dry the fuel with the processor? Yes you can, you can dry the fuel by using the heating method, by purchasing an aerator and using the bubble dry method or if you have plenty of time you can leave it to dry in the holding tank. Do you supply instructions on how to perform the process? Yes, full in depth instructions are included. Does the kit require any assembly? The system is designed to be as simple as possible all parts are provided to build the unit with pre drilled holes as per the photos with full instructions on how to assemble Does it use a self priming pump? Yes, the pump will self prime in seconds.
