Returns

In addition to your statutory rights under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel an order.  

The customer is asked to examine the goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and to notify us of any fault, shortage or damage as soon as reasonably  practicable  and preferably in writing. 

Damaged items and ALL the packing materials must be retained for examination by the shipping company if and when requested in order for them to assess the claim.  Failure to retain the packaging will invalidate the claim.  Refunds for items lost or damaged in the post are at the discretion of the shipping company

We reserve the right to examine goods for damage or defects prior to making any refund.  Any items returned as faulty which are found to have no fault will incur a handling charge.  Claims may be reduced or rejected if we have not been given an opportunity to put matters right.

You are responsible for the safe storage and return of the items at your cost and risk.  All items must be received back by us in their original condition as supplied with all product packaging and instructions and if so, a refund  for the goods will be issued within 30 days of us receiving them.  This will exclude any items specifically ordered and excludes any perishable goods, magazines and CDs.  Kit items must be returned with sealed component bags intact.

You are advised to obtain proof of postage and insurance if appropriate.  The Post Office’s standard compensation for first class, second class, inland letter and ordinary overseas items sent by air or surface mail is £36.00.  You may therefore need to consider sending the goods back by a method which can provide or a higher value compensation in the event of loss.

You are advised to obtain proof of posting and insurance to cover its full value, as we can only make a refund upon receipt of the goods intact and undamaged. Please note - Royal Mail’s standard compensation for loss or damage is only £36.00. 

All claims for shortages, damaged or defective goods must be made in writing within 7 days of receipt. We reserve the right to have electrical or mechanical items returned as faulty assessed by the manufacturer/distributor before issuing a replacement or carrying out a repair within the terms of the warranty. Please contact us if you have a warranty related problem as warranty periods differ with different manufacturers. Any items returned as faulty which are found to have no fault will incur a handling charge.
