But above all the instrumental intricacies, astute session players, behind the scenes shenanigans and the sheer enjoyment derived from making To Know That You're Alive, band frontman Jon Micah Sumrall insists it's all about impacting others.

In this sixth album, Kutless deliver a knockout punch of an album that sees their polished rock style augmented by strings. Without doubt, To Know That You're Alive offers some of the band's most hard-rocking material ever. Check out the incendiary The Disease and the Cure and the driving rock of Overcoming Me if you need proof. Other highlights include Dying to Become which is destined to become a Kutless classic and the anthem of surrender, Complete. Another highlight is You, a gorgeous worshipful ballad that closes the set.
