The Garmin traffic
service uses a combination of cameras and authenticated feeds from reliable
sources such as the highways agency, police control centres and urban traffic
control centres to provide up to date and accurate information on traffic
congestion. Traffic information is then broadcast over a national network of
FM radio stations, ensuring excellent reception of real-time data direct to your
Garmin sat nav.

to ensure alerts are relevant to your route and direction of
