Report itemFor users of the Current Cost system who want to monitor a second meter or three phase. The plug-in CT (Current Transformer) characteristics are identical to the pre-wired version in the transmitter. Users will note that when the 2nd (or 3rd) CT is plugged in, the '2' (and or '3') icon will show adjacent to the '1' in the top left hand corner of the LCD.
Please bear in mind - the consumption shown on display (and in historical xml) will be the sum of all CT's, however anyone using PC connectivity can see each phase separately (dynamically) - although not all software applications may show this. The Current Cost CT is designed to be one of the safest on the market - with a one handed jaw mechanism that opens to a massive 27mm. Best results will be obtained if the sensor is perpendicular to the cable and (if practical) with the cable nearest the hinge end. |
