This little beast is a 25 watt solid state 'Recording Amp' 
fairly lightweight with a nice multiholed stamped grill and 
fluffy casing, rugged plastic corner guards and sturdy carry handle, well made and looks pretty cool too. 
The front console includes: 
input Pre Gain, Post Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass Knobs shaped like silver bullets, Head Phone socket and 3 mini black buttons with red LEDs above for Play Rec Stop and an on/off switch 
Hitting Rec once puts you in standby mode for recording with the LED flashing, hit it again and you get 3 minutes of recording time. 
Hit stop for less than 3 minutes or you can let it run and it will stop automatically, Hit Play and you can play over top of what you recorded. The track is wiped when you record something else or turn the amp off. 
This is a really useful feature for practice. I find this feature really great and use it all the time, it's not huge and it's really portable.
