We are quite pleased to offer this great HERODIAN terracotta COOKING POT for your examination.

This jug was excavated in Jerusalem, Israel and dated 37 BC - 50 AD, the Herodian Era of the Roman Period, and of course the time of JESUS CHRIST! This jug is in fantastic conditon for age, see pics.  WOW!  THIS IS A GREAT ONE!

 BEWARE OF FAKES!  We sell only ancient and authentic!  Many fakes (95%) out there!  We are members of the Archaeological Institute of America.

This pot is a large one and measures 8" tall, 27" circumference and 5" diameter at the lip.  It is a creme color. There is encrustation on the exterior and minimal normal wear..  The pot is in great conditon for age.  Intact and solid.
