Suan Zao Ren Tang Wan is excellent for treating Insomnia and Poor Sleep. It is very popular in chinese herbal shops.

It contains herbs to calm down the mind and move the blood flow to bring more nutrients to the brain area so it gets nourished and able to rest. It also contains herbs to regulate the spleen & stomach system which, in terms of Chinese medicine, affects the calmness of our mind. When the stomach is settled, the mind is rested.

A good diet also contributes to good quality of sleep. Try not to eat food which is hard to digest such as red meat and other high protein, deep fried and hot spice food. Eat more easily digestable food such as potatoes, rice and other carbohydrate based food, fruits and warm vegetables. If you do eat protein, take a small amount and eat more carbohydrates. Avoid coffee and tea especially in the evening.

Ingredients: 100% herbs: Suan Zao Ren (Wild Jujube Seed, Semen Ziziphi Spinosae) 46%, Zhi Mu (Anemarrhena Tuber, Rhizoma Anemarrhenae) 16%, Fu Ling (Tuckahoe, Poria) 15%, Chuan Xiong (Lovage Tuber, Rhizoma Chuanxiong) 15%, Gan Cao (Licorice Root, Radix Glycyrrhizae) 8%.

How to use: Oral take 8 pills each time with warm water 1/2 hour after meals, 3 times per day, or 12 pills each time, twice per day. For children under 12, half the dose.
