This is a beautiful way to capture exact replicas of baby's hands or feet and display them; it makes a lovely centrepiece that is really personal and unique to you. This kit contains enough materials for 6 attempts of a baby under 1 year (approx). and comes complete with easy to follow instructions which make it really easy to do and you can use it for an older child if you wish to or even just display one adult hand. You can choose whether you want to do casts of hands or feet and then display your best ones on the solid pine, oak effect, square plinth that is supplied with this kit. We use top quality impression material which will capture every tiny line, nail and wrinkle, you will be amazed by the detail that this kit will capture. After you have completed your casts and painted them with your paint, choose from silver, bronze or gold, you can choose which ones to display on your cast and glue them into position. The plinth is made of solid pine and is approx. 4” square, it is left unvarnished so you can finish it however you wish to or leave it plain and display your finished statues on, so capture those special memories now in full 3d and never forget how small your baby once was, a truly beautiful reminder for you to treasure. Safety:
The Materials we use are non-toxic and ozone friendly. The powders are totally safe to use on young babies and children. We only use top grade, colour changing alginate which mixes easily and sets quickly, which means no matter if your child moves you should always get a good impression for casting, we also use high quality casting powder, not plaster of paris, as this is too soft. All our products are fresh and have a good shelf life. These are the same materials that we use ourselves in our workshop so you can be sure that you are getting a great quality product that works, at a great value for money price. |
