This baby casting kit includes everything you need to make beautiful 3d casts of your baby's hands and feet, paint them and display them in a this gorgeous satin silver effect frame.  Our frames have been specially hand-made for displaying your casts, and the back-box (where your casts will be placed) has a good 2” depth , the frame is not a cheap import, it is made fully in the U.K . and is beautiful quality.

This kit represents exceptional value for money compared to other kits on the market, it contains plenty of casting materials for a practice as well as the real things, there is enough dental grade, chromatic alginate, to make up to 6 casts of a baby under 1 year old approx. (as babies vary greatly in size!) or up to 4 casts of a toddler and there is 800g high quality casting powder, this is also dental quality and is chosen because it can capture all the tiny details but it is really strong and will last and not crumble. The paint is also a high quality and will not flake on your casts and the kit contains all the materials, bags and stirrers that you need to create your casts. Then you can display your best ones in the frame, any extra casts you may make are perfect as gifts for Grandparents, Godparents etc.

Our easy to follow instructions take you through how to make your casts, step by step so you will be able to create them well and we also include extra hints and tips to ensure that you can overcome the usual pitfalls that can happen when life-casting. We are members of ALI (association of Life-casters) and we use the same materials in our kits as we use in our studio to create people’s casts so you can be assured that our products are of the highest standard. Basically to get casts of hands or feet, you need to make the sloppy mixture (alginate), push your child’s hand or foot into it, it then sets to a rubbery consistency and you can wriggle your baby's hand or foot out, that's the mould! Then make up the plaster and pour into the mould, leave to set, then peel off the outer pink mould material and you are left with a solid, plaster cast which you need to leave to dry out, once dry, you can paint it and glue it into the display box and display.
