beauttiful and very old figure  is also a family salt the trough at his feet held the salt for the meal in the  days before we has salt sellars

the figure is in a very light glaze such as pearl ware

the piece is not marked but in very good condition however there is a  possibliity that there is a restoration to his free arm

the piece is almost 6 inches high
