This auction is for the will.i.am cd album "Songs About Girls". It is a 100% official and original item. It is in a near perfect condition but has a tiny cutout which shows that this is a used US release import Cd. It is not sealed. The album carries a parental advisory rating. Will.i.am is probably best known for being a part of the supergroup Black Eyed Peas . With this solo album, will.i.am proves that he is major creative force of the group showcasing his phenomenal skills as both a rapper and superstar producer. Having already helped Black Eyed Peas member Fergie to a successful solo career, this is will.i.am's turn to make his statement with this set of songs about, "falling in love, falling out of love, trying to get back in love, destructing love and destroying love and then starting a new situation". The album covers many different musical styles from hip-hop club bangers, to R&B, soulful funk, latin, and futuristic dance. Will.i.am's productions are also supplemented by contributions from Fernando Garibay (writer on "Magnificent" by U2, "Bottle Pop by Pussycat Dolls) and Polow Da Don ("Love In This Club" by Usher, "Never Ever" by Ciara) and a fantastic guest appearance from the legendary Snoop Dogg. This album is perfect for those who enjoy the unique sound of the Black Eyed Peas but who might be looking for a slightly more edgy sound and more personal lyrics and melodies. It's a really good album with many great songs, my favourites being "The Donque Song" (ft. Snoop Dogg) and "Impatient" (the original version of the smash hit "American Boy" by Estelle and Kanye West).
