 vintage Bakelite note pad holder made by Carvacraft in Great Britain.  The patina is so buttery soft; you can't reproduce what years and years can do naturally.  Although this was probably made in the 30's it should hold a modern day note pad as it measures 11.5cm for the pad and 22cm overall length. Note the streamlined side decoration - classic art deco. This is in great vintage condition with very slight wear as one would expect from a piece this age.
