This is a striking vintage 30s era Whiting and Davis co. alumesh and celluloid Flapper/DECO handbag/bag with a lovely large chunky clasp and chain strap.It has beige/cream/butter yellow colouring inside is lined in brown fabric with its original lable intact.Please check all measurements as photos taken are of close ups it is aprox:24cm accross at widest x21cm high (not including the clasps)ir is aprox:39cm from the top of the chain to the base of the bag.It is in very good condition,there is some wear to the edge of the lining fabric/stitches to the top edges near the frame see close up but it is still secure and is only visible on close inspection and some light wear to the enamel finish to the base which is hardly noticable,inside is clean and mark free,there is one open compartment and a side open pocket.Clasp opens and closes perfectly chain is sound.P&P £2.50 second class u.k.
