very unusual figure of a ballerina holding a fan

the figure is made with real lace dipped in glaze before firing, this process makes the lace brittle and it is very rare to find a piece with no damage to the lace and this figurre is no exception

there is a fairamount of lace missing from her tutu

never the less it is a beautiful porcelain figure

the figure is not marked and is about 6 inches high
